Zaida from TX<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zaida,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After you sign the contract, Care Credit deducts fees from the total and pays the remainder to the dentist upfront. If the dentist didn\u2019t complete your work, he must refund the balance from his funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Get a Refund from Your Dentist<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have several options to get a refund from your dentist, depending on the conversations you&#8217;ve already had with the dental office. You can also consider what you know about your dentist and his ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Threaten to leave negative online reviews<\/strong> \u2013 If your dentist has mainly positive online reviews, he might be concerned about negative ones.<\/li><li><strong>Complain to the state dental board<\/strong> \u2013 Contact the dentist\u2019s office and let them know you will file a complaint. They might be willing to pay you promptly.<\/li><li><strong>Contact a consumer rights attorney<\/strong> \u2013 A single phone call from a consumer rights attorney might be all that\u2019s needed to get your dentist to see that you\u2019re serious about a refund.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While you\u2019re settling the issue with your dentist, find two advanced cosmetic dentists and schedule consultations with them. Let them examine your dental records and x-rays and examine your teeth.
